Numbers

The numbers of those reading the blog took a dive so we concluded that we were writing too much and decided to correspond less frequently.  Like it say in Galatians 6:7, I will not be mocked.

The Giants

During spring training I said that the starting pitching staff would be pretty good having Bumgarner as the anchor if Cain could come back and be a #2 starter and a rookie who would wow them and become a starter which has turned out to be Heston.  The last two starters would come from Vogelsong, Peavy, Hudson and  Peavy.  Peavy and Cain now off the DL get tested this week in Miami.  Peavy was belted in the Pacific Coast League so I do not expect much from him but Cain has looked pretty good.  His second start is the one to really watch.  If the Giants dream comes true Cain will be a solid #2 starter making them a real contender for the playoffs.

The team is just one game out in second place as we come close to the half way point of the season.  I would never believe they would be so close  especially since they lost Pence whose presence stretches  the lineup and provides better pitches for the other batters.  .  .  Duffy has been the story of the year to date.  We thought he should have been sent to the minor leagues instead of sitting on the Giants bench.  However McGehee was so bad they had to play Duffy.  Just like last year their 8 second basemen were so bad they were desperate and brought up Panic.  Sometimes its better to be lucky then smart. . .   Speaking of McGehee statistics show that for every ten times at the plate with men on base he hits into double plays eight times. . . Those that follow the Giants know they have been a streaky team but nothing like Belt who looks horrible in most games. . .Have the Giants dropped their black Saturday jerseys?  Haven't been seen lately at AT&T probably because no one can read the numbers. . .Will Susac force Posey to be an everyday first baseman?  Its happening now out of necessity.

Anti-Christ

In Galatians 6:7 it say "Do not be deceived, God will not be mocked."  The Giants like most of the nation mocked the son of God in celebrating Anti-Christ Day last Friday. If your not with it today if you aren't part of the anti-Christ groups led by our President.  This is not surprising because in the Message La Salette, Our Lady says, "Civil governments will have the same objective, which will be to abolish and make every religious principle disappear, to make way for materialism, atheism, spiritism and vices of all kinds." Since the Church of Vatican II silenced Sister Lucy of Fatima in 1958  many may have never known that Our Lady said, if people do not cease offending God various nations will be annihilated.  Think the Untied States has a chance?  Don't bet against it.   Father Gabriel Amorth the world's most famous exorcist said recently that the dark prophecies of Fatima may well come to pass anytime after October 2015.
